Court of Dreams
The Court of Dreams is the religious following of the new god Xerxes. It represents the state that minds fall into during rest. Dreams, nightmares, hypnosis, lies, and madness are strong tenets to practitioners of the Court of Dreams. Unlike other religions, the Court of Dreams is also a physical place as well as a name for the group.
Xerxes’ power delves into the other aspects of the divine pantheon. He is able to bless individuals as well as curse them with life, death, and chaotic aspects. Unlike his counterparts, his blessings and curses often come with half-truths. Many people who follow him wish to gain the mad god’s knowledge of the worlds and universe that lays beyond Esterin. Others wish to harness the power of the interlopers and believe Xerxes has the means to reestablish that connection. However, when one attempts to gaze into the rift, the rift - and in this instance Xerxes - often gazes back.
